14500 powered twisty recommendation please.

What’s the current king? Love my Lumintop EDC15 but want something less floody. I prefer single emitter lights. So, USB rechargeable 14500, twisty. Small and light of course, and relatively throwy, single emitter. Bonus points for colour temp. Start on low would be good. Single mode medium, considered. Thanks everyone.

Has to be a twisty? The 14500 light that has won top awards last last three years has been the TS10.

I’ll keep it in mind but single emitter preferred. Thanks!

Check Amazon for the Thrunite ti pro. At least one version is $11 on sale.

But I live in Canada so 3X that but the right light is more important (it’s a gift) than the price for this one. Thanks,

I can’t find a Tool AA without a tail switch on Lumintop’s site. Link? Thanks,

Check out the Lumintop Silver Fox while you’re at it. That’s another one that comes to mind.

Tool AA w magnetic tailcap option

fwiw you dont have to install that switchless cap to use the AA Tool as a twisty… You can just turn the tailswitch on, and then loosen the head (or tail) to turn off and on.

Aliexpress has them with magnetic twisty cap. Pink only

ebastler: “You can always mod your EDC15”

That would be perfect! Does anyone have a current link to that TIR?

This is the store I ordered it from, directly from the manufacturer (Yajiamei):

https://www.aliexpress.com/store/219000/

It was sold as a “XP-E/XP-G lens 17mm diameter conical stent” or something like it. Sadly the shop seems to be gone - maybe just not selling to EU anymore, but for me it is completely empty.

I have found this shop which seems to belong to the same company, and which still sells the lens model I bought:

You need the lens with conical holder, then carefully slice the top off the holder. Watch our while doing it, I tried with a knife at first, slipped and paid the blood tax

I used 15° bead surface, which gives a well balanced beam, but they have others. Sadly this shop seems to sell in lots of 10 units, so the price if you wanna order 3-4 different lenses is pretty steep… The old shop sold single pieces for ~60ct

For reference: Yajiamei is the company that seems to make most of Convoys TIR lenses. Their quality is good.

Perfect. Thank you!
