We’re back! My apologies for another rather long downtime of almost 10 hours. I woke up early this morning to find the site unresponsive, and I’ve been tweaking the configuration since then. I’m still learning the ropes on this new server and I obviously had a few kinks to work out still. I took advantage of this to optimize some settings. I’ll be checking all day to see how the site performs.
Again, my apologies. Glad to have you all back online.

Sigh… You learn something new every day. The database server by default creates huge transaction log files that completely filled the disk. The logs are disabled now. Sorry about that!

Thanks everyone for hanging in all day. I’m going to call it good for now. I think I got it this time.

Good Lord man! Do you realize the severity of this? I was forced to spend several minutes at that “other” site this morning! I almost posted there, for crying out loud….
