Bump with Price Drop.
This is a really nice flooder light - I got a stock one, did the carrier mods, just didn't get to the resistor mods yet. This is the most impressive small light around. The single de-dome I'm sure is an improvement to get some distance out of it.
Crazy a light with this power can actually be pocketed, but it can.
Thanks for the comments Tom E! Yes, I much prefer the MT-G2 to be de-domed since the large LED is such a flooder I think it compliments it nicely to add throw to it. This particular light is special in that it has dual MT-G2 LEDs so having one dedomed adds the needed throw to it.
For more current stack a couple of R200s on top of R3 and R4. Note the upgraded LED wires also.
Nice job on the dedome. Mine always turn out quite ugly. Please share your techniques sometime.
Best wishes on the sale. Looks like a beast of a light.
@ImA4Wheelr - Just use heat. Some turn out good and then.....
some don't turn out quite so pretty, like this one:
Who is this Vinh? He sounds like a really knowledgeable modder but doesn’t use this forum!!! WHY! D; Can I have more info on him please? thanks
Vinh's a guy in Seattle that mods flashlights for a living and is excellent at his job.
Click this link (or the one in Post #1 above) for more info ....and then check out his other creations/mods:

I like mine sunny side up.
What happened there?
Good luck with the sale!
If there was a way to ship to canada I would probably be sending PayPal funds pretty quick beauty light sir!
Thanks for the info on dedoming Max. I've been using the heat method all along. Never got one to look as good as yours. Must have taken a lot of patience, care, and a steady hand. Nice work.
