2s driver for 3V emitter

Is there a driver, which uses 2 LiPo’s and drives a 3V emitter, e.g. xp-L Leds?
I am working on a 2AA Maglite mod, and would like to use 2 14500 LiPos instead of 1 14500 and a spacer cell.

Probably most buck drivers will still support that voltage input range. Be careful of LVP protection, as I imagine it’s typically setup for 2x18650 (so, possibly as low as 5.6V, but more likely up around 6.0V). If you run LiFePO4 down to 2.5v each, you’re losing a chunk of capacity there.
Kaidomain , Mtn Electronics

I should mention, that I need the driver to be 17mm. I couldn’t find one, that drives 3V emitters. If I use a driver made for 6V LEDs, the efficiency will be pretty bad, won’t it?

Mtn Electronics 1A/2A buck driver will work but it has no LVP. Another place is Kaidomain but expect slower shipping.

I need LVP though, should have said so in the first post.

this guy too , but with LVP

That would work, but it’s a bit overkill. I Was thinking of about 2A max, since the 2AA mag doesn’t have a lot of cooling.

I figured. There’s an option for 2.5A output, should still have compatibility with 3V LED. Might get a bit warm but you could pick out a turbo timer (I did not select one in the below image)

Ok, I will keep that in mind, but is there a leas expensive Option?

Kaidomain has the BD39 buck driver but don’t expect shipping to be very fast. I’m not sure if the lower current versions have LVP warning for 2S.

Edit: linked to 2.2A version only

This one only seems to have LVP when run with a Single LiPo

It looks like only the 2.2A 3 modes version has LVP warning for 2S.

That really helps, thank you.
