Just ordered the UV light for € 5.77 incl. VAT, shipping and welcome deal. The latter stayed in place until the payment was completed. To my surprise!
Let’s see if they stick to it. If not, I’ll cancel my order.
Lol, that’s a nice day dream to think i might be a trend setter. I highly doubt anything i do even shows up as a blip on manufacturers radars…
@Henk4U2 let us know what you think of the light when you get it. I expect it to be fitted with super cheap components. To the point of possibly missing o-rings but that doesn’t mean it can’t be worked on to make a half decent light.
Did i show you guys this already…?.. (dragons ts10)
The “dragon” UV-light arrived at noon local time. I’ve paid € 5.77 for it, including shipping, taxes and VAT.
Atm. the “official price” is € 18.43, and the offered price varies between € 1.08 (welcome deal) and € 7.93 (when logged in).
But is has no sharp edges, a considerable weight, a ZWB2 lookalike filter, a built in 18650 cell (so they say) and onboard charging with a USB-micro connector.
Until now I have not been able to open it, everything seems press-fit. But so far I like it, very narrow beam. You can almost use it in full daylight.
Since I own quite a number of UV-lights (based on C2+ hosts) I’ll try to make some comparing pictures soon.
Visible in daylight… does that mean it’s likely >400nm ? Pity it’s a built in battery though
No, I meant, just like more expensive UV-lights, the typical UV reaction of white paper, T-shirts, and some stains is even visible in daylight.
So it’s a cheap but half decent UV light if you don’t mind built in battery
