It doesn’t have any pics of one and its not in the description, I’d guess maybe not but it might.
You could ask the rep but the deal will probably be finished before you get a reply.
Looking at ezarcs pic above it does show the extension installed. You can see TWO fluted connections.
At the Tmart website it shows the light with and without the extension. Without the extension there is only one fluted connector (the tailcap alone). With the18650 extension installed you see 2 fluted connectors as above in ez’s pic in his original post.
The pic shows the body with the tailcap screwed in, the AAA carrier, and the disassembled head assembly — bezel and the innards. There is no 18650 tubing /pipe that goes inside the body. The 18650 tubing/pipe is not an extension, but a spacer to prevent rattle.
The main body without extension ring is short. It will not fit an 18650 by length, only the included 3xAAAs housing.
The ring is indeed an extension, increasing flashlight length by about 20mm. It not only extend the body length, it also has built in spacer that fits 18650 exactly so it has minimum rattle.
Looks just like the old X2000 I got back in the day from DX. It's the light that really got me started on "high-performance" lights. From there it was a C78 and from there a UF-501b. By that time I was hopelessly addicted.
Bleh. Mine arrived today (I thought it was my HD 2010 at first and got extremely excited, then noted the tiny size of the package).
It’s got an identical beam pattern (size/shape/artifact) as my Sipik sk68, but slightly less bright and a bit warmer tint. First impression is a bit disappointing at the $3.50 price point. Ripped it apart, hollow pill, missing 3-4 o-rings. Other than that it’s pristine; I think it needs a driver, maybe an emitter too and it would be a decent little 18650 zoomie at ~$6 total cost.
Got it yesterday and the first thing I did was checking out the “extender”. As others pointed out — and I was very skeptical — it’s the “adapter” for 18650. (The aaa cage is a little shorter than other cages, which does not need ‘extender’ to fit 18650.) (Require button top 18650.)
It’s as bright as 200-lumen zoomie, and the included holster is rather nice. Thanks ‘ezarc’ for the find.
Sorry I totally botched. You are one of the ones correcting/educating me about the extender! My belated thanks to those who pointed out what the extender was.
Anyways awhile back, maybe it was you ezarc, that mentioned a HD2010 from Tmart. It was a Tangsfire, with a coupon, well I ordered it and am very happy. It came today, it is Silver Ano, nice threads, XM-L T6, but it pulls 4.27 amps: stock on a Power izer 26650 at the tail. With the deal, it only cost 24.68 shipped to US. Looks like they have gone up a bit, glad I bought it.
