LOL, I still can't believe they actually put an XML running at 2A into this. Link here for the XML version review (which is not this one) for those who didn't read it.
I'll pass on this one, already have one of the generic version. Just some info based on mine for you guys, feel free to choose whether you want to buy it:
Good:
1. Can run 3xAAA or one 18650 if using the extension (standard thread, by itself worth $1)
2. Can remove head and run as mule, great for lighting whole room
3. Unexpectedly good thermal transfer to body, probably due to screw-in style of the pill
Bad:
1. Body is really thin.
2. Clicky button a bit flimsy (these differs between sellers)
3. Tailcap boot quite thin and not standard size
4. Next-mode-memory on mine that remembers forever. Easily fixed though with the new pencil trace method.
My opinion - the EDI-T at $4 on Wallbuys last sale was a much better value foor zoomie. For this price though, it's worth it, as some backup AAA you keep around the house.
