Thanks Garry. Same here. Order 10 of the FT 4AAA's. I don't want the gift receivers to have to fiddle with a spacer. So I'll mod them. Guess I'll do a conversion mod thread while at it..

Late to this thread, but are any 4xAAA carriers that can replace a 26650 available nowadays?

I think that 3xAAA ones that fit exist, e.g.:

but I don’t know if you can buy just the carriers anywhere. I don’t know of 4xAAA carriers that would fit without modification though…

EDIT: Hah! I thought that I had one of those 26650 zoomies from awhile ago, and I just found the 3xAAA carrier that it came with, and it works. It’s a bit too small diameter-wise, but the length seems to work, esp. because the front contact is spring-loaded. So:

- Probably a 4xAAA carrier, if it exists, and was the correct length, would work, and

  • Anyone know where to buy the 3xAAA carrier by itself that is similar to the one that comes with that zoomie?
