When I see how many posts go up in a troll thread compared to any of the mod threads it does bug me a bit. I could cancel my vote for Steve and pin it on Alp88 instead. We could spend the remaining few days playing darts with our votes.

I miss the board when I play darts. 
That’s why I play at other peoples houses. One might think that many come here just for the deals. I kind of feel that those who set up GB’s influence the direction of future offerings more so than us DIY junkies.
I bet this thread would fill up with people who hardly ever post anything if we told them it was a giveaway. :person_facepalming:
I got out a D10 but didn’t end up rolling it, I spent a bit of time going over the build threads and made a decision that way, and a tough decision it was.
I guess we could bribe people to vote by starting a GAW thread which requires a vote and a post here in order to enter the GAW. We’d probably hit 300+ votes here in just the remaining couple days, LOL! The first obvious problem with that idea is that none of the contestants could host the GAW, because that would be a conflict of interest (might skew results). I can’t believe I’m even considering this to be a good idea. :weary:
Even if we had someone independent host the giveaway I don’t think it’s a good idea. It’s likely a lot of people would just select the first or last contestant without reading anything and still skew the results.

Well, I just tried it and it didn’t work for me. I saw the same error pop up.
Edit: I’m using Internet Explorer 11 in Windows 7 Enterprise. 
And, as you see, when editing this post, the smileys work. Odd.

Maybe a good idea to make members vote would be to GAW the DIY FL that came in 1st place at members voting poll. I’m sure many more would be interested. I believe everyone should vote without a GAW, but… “o tempora! o mores!” :zipper_mouth_face:
Well 10% of hard core followers of all the build threads might be even worth more then 10% of 10 times as much people of who 90% just watched 1 picture of each light briefly right?
