looking for a 4X or 3X LED SFT40 or SST40 or something similar flashlight
checked Sofirn SR15,
Budget bellow 30 USD if possible

Why this configuration? It is rarely a good idea to put throwy emitters in a floody configuration; also, the SST40 is obsolete. Tell us what functional requirements you have for the light, and we’ll recommend you a light.

yes I was not following for last few years.

I want a light with good lumens and around 500m focus throw.

500m throw out of 4x anything is not gonna happen.

The closest thing I can think of that looks like that is not very small, it’s a huge flashlight

I believe Fireflylite has an E04 which they advertised as 500 m but based on the beam shots that I’ve seen on the Internet it’s not it doesn’t get anywhere close to 500 m here look here

This particular light is known for having good color rendering index

The $30 budget is a bit restrictive, but Convoy M21A with SFT70 5000K runs under $30 with battery, and meets your requirements. ANSI throw is likely around 700m, and it should crank out just under 3000 lumens.

If you can expand your budget by $7, the L21B SFT90 will be much better performing, though also a larger light. Note that if you want to see vague outlines of large objects, the ANSI throw suffices; but to see the objects themselves with any detail at all, you need to halve the ANSI throw.

The ANSI range should reach 600m, with around 2000 lumens.

Another option would have been the Sofirn SP36 Pro- it has 4x SST40 and the throw is around 426m. They often come up on AliExpress cheap.

Solid option! They can be had around $25 on sale if one watches out for it, though I picked up a Q8+ for $38 instead.

I’m guilty of buying both. I was going to change the SP36 Pro to SFT40’s (or something else), but it’s fine as is and gives a decent throw.
