Charged these batteries and left them for 6 months ...

Vapex - 1.45v off the charger - 1.35v a few days later - 1.28v after 6 months

Eneloop - 1.45v '' '' - 1.36v " " - 1.3v

Rayovac - 1.47v '' '' - 1.37v " " - 1.31v

Recyko - 1.48v '' '' - 1.37v " " - 1.31v

500mAh discharge

Vapex - 1544mAh capacity @fter 6 months - Battery was charged then discharged again - 2128mAh

Eneloop - 1673mAh - 2242mAh

Rayovac - 1742mAh - 2022mAh

Recyko - 1836mAh - 1980mAh

Wow , Im not sure , but the capacity may be up on the Eneloop 2242mAh @ 500mAh discharge after 6 months of storage [ it was charged after initial discharge ] , but all the batteries

Look to have performed reasonably well ..

The Eneloop did especially well after being charged , and then discharged from a full charge ...

Actually the Recyko , for storage , look much better than the other 3 ..

The eneloop looks good after discharge and being recharged ... So depending on when you want to use them ?

After the initial discharge [ after 6 months of storage ]

[1742mAh @ 500mAh] Rayovac took some 2156mAh to recharge / then discharges some 2022mAh @ 500mAh / and took some 2162mAh to recharge again

[1544mAh @ 500mAh] Vapex took some 2396mAh to recharge / then discharged some 2128mAh @ 500mAh / and took some 2449mAh to recharge again

[1836mAh @ 500mAh] Recyko took some 2061mAh to recharge / then discharged some 1980mAh @ 500mAh / and took some 2136mAh to recharge again

[1673mAh @ 500mAh] Eneloop took some 2629mAh to recharge / then discharged some 2242mAh @ 500mAh / and took some 2629mAh to recharge again

I´ve never had an Eneloop with such high capacity.

eneloop in italy are 15 euro 4 AA :/

and why an eneloop AA is more expensive of a 14500 litio protected from china while in USA throw you 4 at 7$?

interesting data - I've never done any self discharge testing.

i try to remember to write the date and mah on a cell (with a sharpie) after charging. A little acetone on a q-tip and it wipes off...

I haven't price shopped AA nimh in quite awhile - care to add cost/cell to the data?

but your vapextech aren't LSD right?

I found that LSD instant vapextech or that are the same?.. btw the cheaper that i found, shipped half price of eneloop.. damn I realized that must add 3 euro of ships is free just in uk :(

and that are the AAA most dirty cheap in market I think, I have bought and tested, are LDS but about capacity dunno btw performs better of my energizer nimh

All the cells except the Vapex have been reviewed ....

The Vapex are ??? , my brother got them when he purchased a metal detector ..

The other 3 are within a few months of each other [ ? Manufactured ]

If I had unlimited funds I would just buy a 4 pack of everything I could find ...

I just found the data interesting , REcyko did rather well ... lost the least amount of mAh over 6 months [ purchased locally - Dick Smith ? $15 for a 4 pack ]

Dont know - dont eat Vegemite ...

But yes , batteries are not cheap here at all - and that was the discount price , normally $20 or more for a 4 pack
