Anybody have experience with this emitter from KD? Trying to decide what driver to put it with, the 6v5a convoy or the 6v8a. KD says max is 5-8a. Wondering if anyone’s tried using 8a.

I haven’t tried it but it seems to be a renamed San’an LED in the 6V variant (most San’ans come in 3,6 and 12V)
And so far all of those LED’s can handle massive overcurrents
Ya, 6v8a is pretty high though, just checkin. I do have 2 of them that are permanently somewhat angry blue now, so it is possible to overdrive them
