Hohoho :O Want to see all those XMLs in action :p
Holy Cow! Hope you got a good deal on all of those
Hmmm...get a bunch of P60 reflectors, rig a big circuit board to a 12v car battery, and you could light that 'I love BLF' sign up so that a passing 747 could see it.
I dont know what to say :)
Dont let the wife see that. She might get more than a bit jealous. Have you figured out what your're going to do for heatsinking and a driver yet? LOL!
Heh... wiring them all up would be kinda neat, but they're slated for something else. I designed a light fixture to replace the 1000w metal-halide lamps we have at work. The company purchased these, so none of 'em are going into flashlights. Having said that, I thought I'd have a bit of fun before putting them to their intended use :)
mmmmm 1000w metal halide lamp
So basically, you are getting paid to do what you love??? That doesn't sound right...
We lub u 2 Match!
1000w metal halide? You work in a green house or something?
Maybe Match works at a "grow shop." Are those even legal in South Carolina?
Hemp manufacturering factory lighting ... I get it
??? what ???
Wow.. ...
hmm, you're going to need a heatsink for those lovelies. time to recycle...
Your car's engine block is designed for high heat and active cooling, and it's literally just sitting RIGHT THERE, doing nothing...
(and it's a good excuse to go buy a new car. preferably one with bigger, better-cooled headlight sockets and a much larger alternator)
I also want to build a few 5-10 x XML lights for my car detailing sessions but I'll have to get a house with a proper garage first.
Everything started with my car detailing hobby, BTW. I needed light to wash and shine my car in the evening so here I am.
Match, make sure you show us where these end up :)
