a driver for my Sipik clone

Have received my Sipik clone about a week ago.

and like it pretty much..(even though I cant find it at the moment)

The only downturn is the single mode.
I start to like multi-modes..and would like to know if I can get a driver that has at least a decent Low and a nice High.

It doesnt matter too much if it also has strobe as long as it doesnt have Memory then.

And I prefer to let it start in Medium.

and last thing.. it would be nice to have it working on both AA and 14500 batteries.

Any recommendations?

I wont upgrade the led, just the driver..

if anyone knows where to get one a little cheaper.. (including international sending) let me know

but thanks JOhnnymac.. unfortunately I just need 1 driver, and the first one has no modes.. the others are only sold as sets.

if anyone has another one in mind, let me know!

this will be my first little mod!

Sadly Shiningbeam ran out of those boards long ago and hasn’t gotten any more.
They’d certainly be popular for improving these Sipik clones if anyone could find them.

Looking at the Sipik clones I have, all their drivers are pressure-fit (with the little sharp teeth) into the aluminum pills.
And several have signs of corrosion where the dissimilar metals are in contact.

So I’d guess these aren’t going to last long unless we can find a decent driver and pill combination.

Anyone with a machine shop want to make a nice solid little pill the right size to take a decent driver, if such a driver can be found?
