A EDC flashlight in Titanium with high lumens.

Personally I like the body on the DF01 and MT3 the best. But that XT3 does look nice.

I like it

Store: Maeerxu XT3 Brass 18350 3000LM EDC Flashlight - maeerxu
Ebay: Security Measure

Hi, guys. What’s your favorite flashlight in Maeerxu? Let’s talk together!

I just got my brass XT3 in. Definitely my favorite of your light designs. I would love to see it in Copper or Mokume.

My only complaint is the switch springs could be a bit more stiff. It is a bit too squishy for my preference.

HI, Andrew. I’m glad you like our flashlight. Thanks to our XT3 uses mechanical switches, so it is relatively harder than light touch switches.

I got the aluminum 18650 light. Can i change the first mode “disco mode” to something else? Can i change the thermal calibration?

Yes, you can. We can reset the flashlight to factory settings by pressing the flashlight 15 times continuously. At this time, our default power-on mode is light show. If you want to switch to other modes, half-press the flashlight 10 times to customize your favorite mode. And continuously press halfway 10 times until the red light flashes to the sixth time, then you can choose the temperature control setting.

Any chance you could make the XT3 in copper?

We currently do not have this product. What do you think about DF03-14500 in Copper?

And this can be equipped with light luminous film.

I’m using Crescendo on a Mountain Electronics PCB. Not sure if there’s anything to improve, I find it perfect  .

Thanks! But if I made it today I’d definitely do some things differently. And if it ran on a bigger MCU, I’d want to merge Bistro and Crescendo into a single firmware, and try to make some things easier. I’d probably extend FSM to work with clicky switches, and rewrite the interfaces from scratch with code that is easier to understand and modify.

However, I haven’t touched either one’s code in ages, since I like e-switch interfaces more. Instead of trying to imitate Anduril in clicky-switch form, and ending up with something less capable, I may as well just use Anduril itself.

On most of my clicky-switch lights though, I’m still using one of my very first interfaces, called “s7” because I originally wrote it to run on a Convoy S7. It just has a simple list of modes going from moon to turbo, then after turbo it has a bunch of blinky modes… and if it’s off for more than half a second, it resets to the beginning of the list. It’s just a simple attiny13a project from 2014, for single-channel nanjg-style drivers, but it’s still one of my favorites to use.

Anyway, Maeerxu’s UI seems kind of like a cross between Bistro and Crescendo, but with some things added.

3 Thanks

Could you guys tell me which flashlight from Maeerxu you like?

I would like to see some 21700 based copper and brass.

Brass df01 18650 :slightly_smiling_face:

Maeerxu MT3 18350 in aluminium so I can afford one lol, also I’d like to know if you take UK VAT before sending so it won’t get customs charge plus Royal Mail collection fee (which is a massive £8 now!)
If not maybe list a few different lights on ebay UK and the VAT will be collected by them/paypal automatically.

Currently we don’t have these flashlights yet, there may be in the future, please pay more attention to our Maeerxu

Planning is underway and won’t keep you waiting too long. :grinning:
