Is anyone a pro in this stuff?
Could use a simple surveillance camera, that can do “on it’s own” without wiring and / or Wi-Fi.
…on a budget, naturally 8)

You mean, something like a Bushnell 8MP?
They cost more than twice as much over here in the Old World.
Yes, something like that…
Too bad it cannot be Shipped here. Is there a budget alternative for this kind of stuff?
Just curious - what do you intend to use this camera for?
watching game, I suppose?
CT, you might want to take a look at this the stealthcam nomad 530IR looks nice, also the cheapest. They’ll even ship to Finland, for € 18,— flat.
Heres one from NG store, not sure if they ship to FIN or if its available somewhere else for cheaper:

Little bit of googling tells you how to DIY:
This is a good site for game camera reviews: http://www.chasingame.com/
If your ‘game’ is humans, do look for a camera that has no afterglow on the IR lights to give away the camera location.
If sound activation will work this look at this camera: http://www.tmart.com/Black-Sound-Control-Mini-Digital-Video-Recorder_p91225.html
Just as a hidden security cam.
Ok, so you need it to be off the grid, battery powered?
The you might want to try out those tiny 9$ Mini DV cameras that can be activated by sound, only problem - they shut off if there is no sound detected during recording, they are video cameras and dont last long, unless you upgrade with some bigger battery
Are you looking for video or still images?
Googling/Ebaying give me ~130$ shipped from China, one those game cams.
The camera that you are searching for is called as the ip cameras.
Not at all, as he said - he doesnt need them to be connected to any kind of network, so IP wont work, he wants them to be autonomous in all regards
+the price on those that you posted isnt exactly budget
