Hello,
Any lights that accept AA/cr123 like the zebralight sc80?
Back then didn’t have spare cash for the sc80, missed out.

Two different form factors. I don’t see how that would be possible.
It’s a rare class of light you’re after.
I believe the Peak Logan 17500 can take both AA or CR123, but requires spacers.
Edit to add:
I think the Fenix CL20 lantern was ‘multi-fuel’ also.
Streamlight’s Protac 90 and the Protac 1L-1AA take both, apparently.
Jetbeam WL-S1
Fenix HL50
Nextorch TA10 and TA15
Pelican 7610 takes 2xCR123 or 1xAA
Jetbeam RRT0SE (2018)
Streamlight Sidewinder Compact II
Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1
Nitecore SRT3
Thanks to http://flashlights.parametrek.com/ for the info
It is.
Some years ago the Utorch SF01 could take AA / AAA / CR123a batteries, but then that brand disappeared (as Gearbest…).
When you say AAs, you mean Alkaline or Ni-MH, or do you include 14500s as well?
The Jetbeam RRT01 - 2019 or 2020 version - can take both types of cells (3V or 3.7V) if you add an extension tube.
Without tube it takes CR123a / 16340 / 18350 cells.
With 1tube it takes 14500/18500 cells.
With 2 tubes it takes 16650 / 18650 cells.
Larger cells will fit better than the slimmer ones.
Shiningbeam i Mini with AA adapter tube will do both, but SB is gone.
Chris
This one, takes that too:

(sold in Kaidomain store from AliExpress, and it also works in the logics of extension tubes)
Streamlight 1L-1AA, Compact II, and Protac 90 all run on both without changing anything, just drop the cell in and run. These will also run on a AAA in a pinch.
If you have the right adapters, just about any C or D cell light will run on both and many more cells:
No li-ion. I have plenty of 18650 format lights.
> Any lights that accept AA/cr123
what prompted your interest in that combination?
These two lights can use AA or CR123 or also LiIon:
V11r with AA extension, as on the left:
V10r Ti with AA extension, as on left:
PM me if you would like to consider a purchase…
good luck with your search…
there is a UTorch that does that
it’s actually decent, the UTorch SF01
I have one, it was on some kind of sale about 3 years ago
under $10 or i would not have bothered
may be a clone
the body is long enough for an AA, and big enough for a CR123
the spring takes up the slack, though an AA does rattle from side to side a bit
not sure if an AAA goes in or not, i Have AAAs so i have not tried
it even has a 2 level UI that is kind of different and cool
programmable, i.e. the user can program 3 different modes: High/Strobe/Low (factory default); High only; and Low/High, to program you have to tap the switch rapidly 9 times and hold it down the 10th time, keep holding the switch until the light turns off, then release the switch. L

and the light color is a nice neutral with no blues or greens or purples

Have plenty of 18650 lights. Thought I look into a light that takes both batteries I can get locally during emergency.
I remember someone said during an emergency; most of AA, AAA,C,D are usually gone. Hopefully can find cr123 if I really need it.
that makes sense
good a reason as any, to buy another light … lol
I also like the excuse to get a solar panel, to recharge my eneloops and LiIons.
Slippery slope…
enjoy the ride
share what you buy
Although I have too many flashlights anyway, my go-to emergency flashlights are:
1. 18650 flashlights that accept CR123’s. I also have a box of CR123’s in the closet and get new ones every 7 years or so.
2. Just about any long runtime rated AA or AAA light. Currently, for me it’s a toss up between two Coast Polysteel lights… I keep the smaller one in the car glove compartment with a Big Larry clone if I need to change a tire, etc.
Something else to consider, is that some 21700 lights come with a 2xCR123 adapter… and some will accept an 18650 in the adapter (not all).
As someone already mentioned, Streamlight currenltly offers a AA/CR123 light. I have an AA/CR123 Fenix headlamp in my emergency bag, but they stopped making it… or at least they stopped making the extension for the AA.

Thanks, I’ll look into it.

I could buy a spacer to run my 18650 lights with 1 cr123…
I 3D printed some 18650 to CR123A/16340 adapters:
Thank you, xxo. I will keep you in mind if I decide to go that route.
Probably pretty easy to make a spacer using pvc pipe or a wooden dowel
