While Iām not nearly as tech savvy as most internet users, I have nevertheless found that navigating this new format and its UI isnāt overly difficult. Iām also finding it rather intuitive to find what I need to know without having to post a question.
On my 8" Android tablet, the layout does feel a bit cluttered, which can make it easy to miss something Iām looking for, but Iāll adapt soon enough.
I must congratulate āsbā for a job well done, and for maintaining your ever-present diplomacy & grace when confronted with the initial onslaught of complaints, especially the unnecessary whining from a few with no real skin in the game.
Iāll bet that the amount of work that you put into this latest project must have been overwhelming, so I hope youāll be taking some well-deserved time off to relax and recharge your Li-Ion internal batteries!

Thanks so much @KnotSoMuch for your kind words! I really hope that everyone will learn to enjoy the new software. It definitely wasnāt just change for the sake of change, but of course the familiarity factor of the old forum was also valuable, so I understand why some were upset.
@sb56637 , is it possible to add a black on light grey scheme? Neither light nor dark schemes are made for me. I find them both hard to read. Maybe a different font would help too, donāt really know. All I can say is that I have issues with the contrasts.
Otherwise the new features are very welcome.

Hi there @Unheard. So it sounds like the current dark theme with white text on black background has too much contrast for you? Black on light-gray would be similar to the current light theme but with slightly less contrast.
Yes and probably yes. Blue on white is irritating somehow. Donāt be bothered if Iām the only one with this problem. Iām asking just in case adding more color schemes arenāt too much of a hassle.
Yep, thatās definitely planned, at least one or two more. Iām just trying to dig out still and handle a few more pressing things first.

Hi there @mitsuki08 , I assume that problem happens when you donāt have the HTML inspector open too? Do you have any browser extensions that are interfering with Javascript?
Yeah I removed all my extensions and turned them on individually. Dark Reader - Chrome Web Store was causing the issue.
Is there a way to go to the last unread post in a thread? Itās one of my most used features in the old site. Wonder if itās available here. I can only click the number of replies and go to the first and last post.

Yep, if it shows unread posts for a thread that you visited before then you can just click on it and it will take you directly to the first unread post.

Very nice format, i know it from an mma forum, i had to make a request for a new password and everything is goodā¦ !
It would much much better if we can put gifs on our Avatarsā¦ ! If we can upload a square 300 X 300 X 3kb would be o good oneā¦ and then, the system (Avatar Editor) could do all the adjustments - scale downs so it can fit them in the other applicationsā¦ !

Hi, Iāve searched around the site but canāt find any answer to my PM issue. I would send you a PM admin but canāt.
I canāt see the menu or prompt to PM users on their page. I found the ācontact the adminā on the drop menu was just a way to PM you. But, I get an error when I use it.
Will it unlock after a certain time because Iām a new member?

The old site used to show the number of posts someone had. I am not seeing it with the new format.
