I’ve discovered that a 18350 tube will turn on a Thorfire VG-15s head . My question is will it harm either the cell or the emitter ? Will runtime be halved or less?

Hi, regarding LEP, what is different between low cost brand / no name brand (around $12-$30) and Fenix (more than $260) ? In term of LEP only, are they same function? Please clarify since I would like to understand before purchasing. Thank you.
There’s no such thing as an LEP module for less than around $60 in bulk, so the no-name brand ones are usually using Yinding Round Die emitters (around 2000lm out of a really small round LES) which when focused will produce a thin beam that is very focused from a metre or so away, but diverges quite a bit at long range. You might be able to get closer performance using a large aspheric lens like in a Convoy Z1 (and there are other brands that offer both LEP and LED options in the same host)
