Acebeam TAC 2AA 6500k blue vs desert tan

Does anyone know why the desert tan 6500k has a longer beam than the blue 6500k? It’s only 20 meters longer but I can’t figure out why. They seem to be the same flashlight, except for the color.

Tan has the Cree XP-LR emitter vs SFT-25R on the blue. Acebeam has updated a few of their lights with the Cree emitter. My lights with the XP-LR have the same beam color as many of my Sft-25R 6500k lights. The round phosphor looks the same to my eyes on a slightly beefier looking LED chip.
