Has anyone tried to do an LED swap on an AceBeam Tac 2aa? I’m wondering how I can get the pill out to more easily replace the LED.

Looks like a shelf, not a pill. Just desolder the wires and remove the MCPCB.
Just desolder the joints on the mcpcb and pop it out. It’ll have some thermal paste but should otherwise pop out easily if you use some needlenose pliers or some other tool.
The mcpcb is already loose so I shouldn’t have a problem. This will be one of the first led swaps I do so I just want to be prepared.
Are you swapping it with an LED that’s already on an MCPCB, or will you be reflowing?
