The Acebeam UC25 did not impress me right out of the package but after using it intensly for several weeks on many shifts and EDC I have come to appreciate it and think it is a very interesting option for more professional users. It offers the kind of low-key qualities that might not sound impressive but let you grab it much more often than you at first expect. The steep price here is really not offset by extraordinary features - in fact some “luxury features” like a proximity sensor or display are missing - but rather by a large battery, noticeably longer runtimes and a very tanky build with a simple, smart UI.
