Voted for AB, this is what I wanted the HD20 to be, and 18650 form factor is even better. The other LED options make no sense.
Voted BE. Thanks Wurkkos!
I voted AB.

I’m in favor of AE (LH351D and red/flood) but would probably be fine with any white+red combination.
LH351D? Yes in flood but NOT 5000k. 4000k max or lower. The idea of having a spot and a flood option on one light with both hi cri at 4000k or lower is probably going to be the most popular. A flood 4000k and red option is probably a good choice also. I haven’t experienced red in spot and flood to really know what is going to be best there. I would hazard a guess that somewhere in between spot and flood is going to be best in red but I’m not sure. It probably would be dependent upon what you’re trying to do, light up an area 10 ft or less around you or 20 to 30 ft in front of you. Also let’s define flood, my favorite headlight has really good spill out to 120°. The beam on the Sofirn sp40 is way too much spot for me as a single led. Probably not bad if you howad a spot and a flood option. So I guess you need to define spot also. Is it going to be more or the same spot as the sp40?

I would’ve loved a high output for spot and high CRI for flood
Keep the magnet option. I’m not sure how a two-way clip is really useful on a 90° light. If you have to hang it head down on your pack or belt or pocket outside to light things up it’s just as useful as head up. But I would extend the clip so that it’s nearly flush with the tail. And having to remove that clip to put it in and out of the headstrap is problematic for some. You don’t want a clip that comes off too easily because then it’s not secure when clipped on to things.

I also don’t see the use for a two way clip in on a 90° lamp?
As for the issue of removing the clip to attach it to the headstrap, I think something like this would be a nice solution:
For the HD15 there would be no need for a swivel as the clip can already rotate around the body of the flashlight, so it would be even simpler design…
In this case the two way clip would make sense since it would act as a flat spring, creating friction between the clip and its sleeve to ensure it holds properly

[to Fescron’s suggestions] - Agree 100%!
I voted AB. I’ve never really used red at all.

2700k flood would be nice for A
