Advice on tactical flashlight

Hi all, I am looking for a budget tactical flashlight regarding the following features:

18650 format
Two independent switchs
USB charge
Budget price
High output

It is intended for home use and night defensive situations

Hi, Those list of lights INML propose, should do the job in dual switch tactical purpose light youre after,  but considering the 'independent switch work'; i found some of those are not in the budget domain.

My understanding of independent dual switch tactical lights is they have specific coding for the mcu that allows activation from sideswitch; yet give direct turbo override by engaging an off state(forward clicky,momentary) tailswitch.

Some models from Acebeam,Fenix(and some other ‘non budget’ lights) have this feature.

Not so cheap as the options above, but I would suggest Brinyte PT16a.

I don’t have a PT16a, but should it work like the PT18 PRO Oathkeeper, it is probably one of the best “tactical” lights out there.

It is a 21700 instead of 18650, though.

Check some videos too see if it suits you!

Here’s some I’ve tested that are pretty fantastic for 18650…

Klarus XT11GT Pro V2 #1
Fenix PD35 V3

I haven’t tested it, but the Sofirn SC31 V3 seems nice for a budget light in 18650. All the others are 21700. There’s not much ofna size deficit beteren the two, and lots more options like the Olight Warrior 3S, X4, or Seeker 4, Fenix TK20R v2, Tk20R UE. There’s others, but those are all good.

If you widen the option and loosen the criteria, but keep the ‘budget’ option; i highly suggest take the Convoy route.

For around the house Convoy have many option for edc lights that have usb charge, regulated driver, simple UI, tons option on LED choices whether its Hi CRI, Hi Intensity, Hi Lumens, CCT, size/footprint and in the longer run they all serviceable. S21e, M21d,M21f,M21e…

For the night devensive terms, you want light with Tailswitch, Forward Clicky for momentary use.

I crave for Acebeam’s L35v1/v2, T36, L17, Nitecore’s SRT6/7, MH12/25pro, TM,…Klarus xt21pro…, FenixTK16v2…
Yet for my budget and limited access to that many favorites; I set my self some Convoy’s for tactical/ defensive purpose;

I have;
M21b (21700)6v8a driver xhp70.3 hi 6500k
S21b (21700)6v5a driver xhp70.2 hd 6500k
M1(18650) 6v5a driver SFT70 6500K
M2 (18650) 3v8a driver SST40 6500K

all of them in Mode group 11 ( turbo,mid,strobe) some of them have the memory off, some on.
These have high lumens, usable candela and easy access. (for those boost driver; 6v, use high drain cells)

Check them out should you choose to go Convoy route.
