12VDC, probably 2A or more would be safe.
Thank you for replying
I installed a 10M 2700k 24v outdoor light strip a few days ago. A 24v 6A dc power supply was recommended. I added a 24v 10A photosensor and 15A pwm dc motor controller in an outdoor rated 2 gang box. The cap on the right side of the box covers the brightness adjustment.
For a 3M 12V you might need a 3A or 4A dc power supply.
I thanks for replying
Depends on the kind of striplight. mono vs rgb, how many LEDs per meter, etc.
My come-with adapters for strips were all about 2A/10’.
Yeah, if you go for rgb, “high-density”, etc., you might have to kick that up a few notches. But plain ol’ regular striplights for me were about 2A/3m.
So… more info about the strips? rgb? mono? “high-density”? regular? etc.
Surprised they didn’t come with their own adapters…
Just in case…
