I managed to buy one for € 18,04 (with the included (EU) VAT/tax and shipping), which still is a very good deal (in my opinion) for a non-aluminium flashlight! It will be my first non-aluminium flashlight; I still aspire a (red) copper flashlight, but for this price, a brass TS10 is a really good alternative! (I really love my TS10 and it’s awesome that I will get a brass version for less than what an aluminium TS10 costs me nowadays!)
EDIT:
I went for the 4000K with Red Aux LED’s, instead of green Aux LED’s, since I felt that Red would suit the brass better than green. My current (and only) TS10 is Red with ‘Ice Blue’ Aux LED’s, which may sound weird, but in practice (in my opinion) work out really well!
I wanted to buy the Copper 3000K orange aux but it was always out of stock. Today, after refreshing the page for 65536x time it is finally in stock and I snagged one for $16 including a battery. Nice deal!
Ah dang. I already have brass and so far I’ve resisted the deal. A deal on copper, or if aluminum drops to about $10, and I don’t think I’d be able to resist.
I only have a red 4000k w red aux. Now I have a brass 3000k w orange aux. The next would be either a white aluminum or titanium 6000k w blue aux. If a deal comes up I won’t be able to resist…
Those damned TS10’s, you just have to have many of them.
I know the feeling! I skipped the brass deal (already have one) but couldn’t resist another aluminum. I’m at four al, one converted to a single, one brass, and one ti in the mail that should arrive any day now. This 5th al will be converted to a single.
interesting/frustrating that the “add to cart” button is missing from the listings, preventing you from (for example) buying the cheap TS10 with other items you’re ordering. (and i confirmed these listings can’t use the “$4 off every $20” bf/cm promotion.) mysteries of aliex.
If you don’t want to source a deeper bezel from a Sofirn SP10 or Convoy T2/3, the options for a single conversion are probably pretty limited. The trouble is finding a short, 18mm wide TIR. You can find short TIRs but they aren’t usually the ideal width. If it’s short and narrow, it won’t be much of a single LED thrower.
I brought a 40kg air hammer on aliexpress
Waiting on a shipment of 32 x 100ah LFP cells only cost AU$2650. About another $500 for BMS cable breaker terminals.
Hopefully Wurkkos will release a single version. Now that we all have multiple in the different colors, metals, etc. they could do it all over with a single TIR thrower and we’d all buy several more, haha.
This is exactly the early Convoy business model … S2,S3,S4,S5, S6 ,7,8 …. Multiple driver options , multiple emitter choices , multiple colors , different Tir options , copper , brass , ti , and it gives the customer a thousand different options of the same thing .
Smart marketing
Nice! Those two frequently come and go from super deals since I’ve been watching over the past few months. The prices fluctuate but what you show are the lowest I’ve seen them go.
