ALL THINGS BUDGET KNIVES

^ I dig the way that turned out too. I've found that heavy oxidation rubs off fairly easily. That level you have there will hold up better.

Thought I would post up this great deal $23 for a great fixed blade knife.

I’m looking for a clone of Spyderco Tenacious plain blade C122Gp, but I’m able only to find the version with the black blade, here:
Tenacious black blade

I would take a look at the Spyderco Resilience too, but on Aliexpress at this moment you can find “only” Military/Para2/Delica/etc but not one Resilience or Tenacious with satin blade, only black :~

Any suggest?
Thanks in advantage.

why look at a clone Resilience, Amazon has the real one for $43
http://www.amazon.com/Spyderco-Resilience-Black-PlainEdge-Knife/dp/B010KC6DP8

Because here in Italy they cost double (in euro) plus 8/10 euro for shipping…

Amazon don’t sell american brand knives directly from Usa :_(
If you don’t believe it, here is the link: Resilience 67 euro (74$)
:~

Because of duty and VAT? What about Lionsteel knives? They aren’t cheap but there has to be some blemished specimens available for a significant discount.

sorry to hear that, what a shame

Not only.
Amazon sell the same model here in Italy, BUT in USA you pay it 30$ for example, in Italy it become 60 euro. Spyderco, Kershaw etc etc. Is their commercial policy :~

Their are absolutly very good knives! Very good reputation here in Italy, Lionsteel is a OEM for Spyderco too. High quality knives. And yes, their are not cheap

Ganzo720 is a copy (a very good copy) from Lionsteel SR1 knife and cost half or less.

Those of you who have both the Ganzo G720 and G722, which do you consider the better knife? And don’t tell me to buy both, I have too many already

G722 (if its weight doesn’t bother you).
You can rarely see such stunning design at this price:

I just looked it up, it looks great, but wow, you’re right, that’s a heavy beast.

A half of a pound? That is a lot in your pocket.

I just got the Ganzo 724M in yesterday. About perfect for an easy carry EDC. In the G720 vs G722, I like the lock and double scales of the G720 over the liner lock and single sided scale of the G722. If they make a smaller G722, like the G724M size, that would be a hard choice… But I like the Axis lock better…

huh, I dont think thats possible…………

I like them both, framelock maybe stronger

Cost me a few quid from AE

It’s a very decent little item, came with three blades, the blades lock up nicely in closed, half and full position. Weighs 37g including a blade.

! ! !

It’s not recommended EDCing it in the pocket of your swimming trunks.

Yeah, I guess not. :stuck_out_tongue:

If you want something slimmer have a look at the new G723. It weights 1.62 oz (46 g) less:

That’s much more reasonable, at least for me. I don’t really do super heavy duty stuff anyway.

I do not have any of them still, but… i have an idea of both. I like both and they are very similar at design. However, the blade on the 722 is slighty diffferent, less curved at tip, i like a bit more the 720 blade with the great recurve and wide blade. The scales on the 720 like me more than the 722 that it looks like frn. The texture of the 720 seems more attractive. And for the last, the framelock vs axis… i like both, always the franelock was one of my favorites, but the axis lock is great too and you will have two scales and it will be very cpmfortable to use. Really if i see the blade and the handle texture of the 720 i will go for it. From the 722 i like the framelock but all other things i like more on the 720.
