That’s along the lines of what I’m looking for. Wish the handle was a bit more curved though but for the price, I’ll probably give it a try.
While searching for Karambits, I found a nice one.
Not a folder and more than what I’m willing to pay at the moment but nice nonetheless

I never ordered from AE. How would you rate your experience with most sellers?
Only ever had one problem, received full refund. It’s better to buy from sellers with a higher rating.
Where do you use a karambit? I can only think one function for karambit and that is slicing living tissue. Cutting rope maybe? Hopefullu not for working with wood

I have plenty of folders for useful tasks, no need of a Karambit for that.
This is more to get something different and maybe learn a few tricks 
Ah, it’s for childish playing… Then I understand I’ve considered a balisong for that same thing or even an OTF but then I always find something more “functional” and justify my need for that… Even when the truth being that I rarely need a new knife but I just have to get it.
I have never understood my love for knives but I have decided that I dont’t need a therapist for that, I just “need” a new knife.
The tiny karambit that I linked 1st is more for a self defense situation. Just hang it around your neck and you’re good to go!

LOL! I know what you mean, I can’t understand my attraction to blades neither.
And when my wife confronts me about it, I just say:
“I need that many knives for the same reason you need that many shoes”
On the subject of OTF though, you’d be surprised. As long as the blade is of useful shape and of good steel quality, I’ve actually found them to be the most practical for EDC.

Simple, efficient and no delay.
The only problem is that they are illegal in most places for no good reason (thanks Hollywood |( )

But usd 26 for a piece of metal is quite expensive imo! I’ve seen larger karambit for less!
It’s more of an attack weapon when initially introduced to the art of silat!
Used mostly to target tendons, major arteries and eyes. The most lethal ones I’ve seen are the double edged ones… Illegal where I live btw.
The fox karambit also comes in a trainer version if you’re interested in learning it’s full potential without destroying punchbags, friends, yourself or whatever you want to train with 
Always check feedback on the item you are about to purchase (Ebay/Amazon/Aliexpress/…)
I don’t believe anyone in their right mind would ever try to use this as a self defense weapon.
Let’s assume that you’ve actually mastered the Karambit and know how to use it effectively.
The attacker comes to rob you. You bust out your Karambit.
Case number 1 (the most likely)
If he’s a real thug, he’ll have a piece on him.
Best case scenario he still takes what he wants.
Worst case, we all know it.
Case number 2
He’s a low life with a knife
You do any of these and you’ll be spending many many years behind bars.
Either case is not really worth it IMO.
Knives make great tools but poor weapons.
Karambits make great toys but poor weapons if you are not in the military and at war in hand to hand combat.
