In singapore we don’t really have to worry about firearms so 1st case is probably out. 2nd is the most likely to happen here in SG but if it ever happens it’s really very rare! However in SG, muggers/robbers would normally yield pen knives and once they get injured they will very likely take off! As long as you don’t file a report you’re safe from the law.

Would like to buy a Ganzo G732 - linear lock Endura clone- (you can find only on Aliexpress at 19$ or so) but now I’m really tempted to pull the trigger on Ganzo G729 at Gearbest.

Might want to rethink ordering from GearBest. The G724M and G727M I ordered in August never arrived.
I filed a paypal dispute and in 3 weeks I had my Ganzo 727 in mail box
That’s the thing with GB.
If something goes wrong, they don’t want to rectify it in the first time.
Only when threatened with PayPal dispute, they will offer more acceptable solutions.
Nevertheless, their prices are hard to ignore and if really need to buy from them, do consider paying extra for tracking or insurance

All my 10 orders shipped from mid-Aug to mid-sept via CN unregistered post never showed up (never had any problem before)
It’s been hell to try to get them to rectify, months of emails back and forth and BS excuses etc… but after a few pp threats they agreed to reship and I have received 8 of them so far.
I think now I’m on some kind of list where I can’t order via unregistered mail any more, like I’m sure the problem is with the Canadian postal services and not the Chinese one :~
As for G729 vs G730, it’s a tough one as both look nice and both should be fine. I debated for a couple of days and decided to go with the liner lock.
I already have a few other models with axis lock and am looking forward to flick my Spydy look-a-like with my index finger :bigsmile: The axis lock makes it harder to do by design.
The best choice is to get both which I probably will
I would like to pose,are their any budget knives under say 40.00 usd that has a higher grade blade than say cr9mov? I f so please list or show ecspicially say folder tacticool style knives?
for $40 stay away from 9cr, go with D2 or Aus-8 steel. you can also find 154cm fixed blades. I have also seen some cpm s30v steel knives around that price(extreme sales)
Don’t discount the strength of 8cr13mov, it is a very good steel for the price and is is close to equal to Aus-8 steel.
but for your price range, you can easily get a very nice D2 steel folding knife or fixed blade.

At nearly 9” and only 95g I think it will fit my needs well for a large, thin and lightweight knife for SD carry when wearing shorts and lightweight pants.
It’s actually about the same weight as my Large SOG Trident, which is EXTREMELY light, but I think this Endura4 is a lot thinner. If I really like it a lot I’ll eventually get the real one (probably the less expensive VG10 version)
I received one of these a couple days ago. It is, by a big margin, the sharpest knife I ever ever received stock. So sharp, I don't want to take stone to it yet. The blade is very well made and seems like it may be of some high quality steel. I will have a better sense of that when I finally do sharpen it, but for now I am too happy with it to worry about that. Being lock back, you really have to flick your wrist hard and at the exact right moment to flip it open. Better to just open slower with thumb. I got mine for $15.12 the day after 11.11 here:
I filed Paypal disputes and in three weeks PP refunded my money. GB did nothing but ask me to jump through an increasing number of hoops. Bought the knives elsewhere for about a buck more.

I’m getting jerked by the seller.
11 days after order I get a message they don’t have it in stock.
Choose either baby blue or pink color, or choose another knife or refund. |(
But they’re still running the listing for the one I ordered, and another listing for it in a 5 lot. |( |(
And in the descriptions they wrote this: “all on sell knife have in stock……” |( |( |(
Also the listing let me pay extra for ePacket shipping but the seller is telling me this now:

Ouch, I’m becoming more and more persuaded of the fact my order at GearBest will never show up now, since I didn’t know about their (not?)shipping issues and didn’t pay for tracking.
My last order from GB took 85 days from order to delivery……. assuming their base is in Shenzen it is roughly 5900 miles to my house, so the postman would need to cover about 69 miles a day - that is probably doable on a bike……!!!
FYI I ordered 2 knives from Gearbest also, late August and early September. I received neither. They said they were shipped and must have been lost in the mail. They offered half refund and half store credit, which I haven’t accepted. We’ll see what happens, but something not good is going on with Gearbest.
Yeah it’s pretty addicting for me, ever since I started doing it I NEVER open it any other way.

With my PM2 after I draw it (from front pocket clipped position), I have to do a hard quick flip upwards before the downward drop, that’s because I have it set to carry tip down. I found if I set it to tip up my thumb and finger were too far from the Spyder Hole upon drawing, so I was having to re-grip it to re-position it for the drop.
To put it another way: When I draw from the tip down position my thumb and finger are quickly on the hole, then I to do a quick “up then drop” method.
