Previously I always used Arctic Alumina 2-part Epoxy to glue the LEDs to the heatsink. This product seems to be discontinued, so I am looking for a similar alternative. I am looking forward to suggestions from the other modders here.
I used 2 components glue with thermal grease (what you have laying around or some Arctic MX 4 or better).
Mixing ratio 1 drop Part A, 1 drop Part B and a drop of thermal grease, around the same size as Part A or Part B.
It worked like a charm for me every time.
MG chemicals makes some 2 part thermally conductive epoxy.there are a few grades that have different setting temperatures and times. I have the type 8329 which is relatively fast setting. Not cheap and it is more than it was when I bought some a few years ago. I keep it refrigerated in storage. Amazon.com

Re the mixing of std 2 pt epoxy and thermal grease. Might that not be a rather hit or miss thing? How well would the mix conduct heat?
Been years since I used the artic epoxy (replaced a noisy northbridge heatsink with fan with a larger passive heatsink), bummed to hear it’s discontinued.
The Heat Sinks I used with this method turned out to heat up really fast which indicates that the heat is conducted well.
Just make sure not to add too much thermal grease or else the glue would not adhere properly anymore.
