Those mPows look good. Did anyone order the H12 for a little more? I am wondering if its any better than H10.

I did but it’s still coming. I’m wondering too.

I received the H12s today— they are very similiar to the H10 —- They look a little more refined—blacked out
They could very well be the same headphones with a different look
I didn’t realize the ANC worked even if the headphones weren’t on

Coming Sunday.

I ordered 3, 1 delivered (H18s). Gonna gift at least one to the gf, her choice (sound, fit, etc.).

Will try A/B/C tests when I have ’em all.

I did notice on the 18s that when the battery voltage starts running low, there’s no beep, no warning, etc., but they just start breaking up at random, more and more. Was listening to a not-very-stressing “Behind Blue Eyes” when it started cracking up, smooth bass guitar but no thumping percussion or anything. Gave ’em a quick charge, fixed right up, so let ’em top off whilst I listened via my purely-passive B3s.

And trying to listen to ’em while charging, is a no-go. Plugged into a laptop port, weird angry buzzing. Plugged into a powerbank, slow weird “fwoop, fwoop, fwoop…”.

So charging + listening doesn’t work too well, even with everything turned off.

And the 18s are rather wide, too. Noticed when I saw my reflection in a laptop screen (off) that I looked like one of the Cybermen.

Thanks, I missed that update. So the H12 and H10 are the same sound and just different frames? Whats with these mPow versions, there are so many of them! I see one H12 with USB C charging which is much better specs.

Here are my impressions of H12, from another thread on BLF:

I’m amazed what people are expecting from a $40-$50 set of headphones — Let alone a $10-$14 set—-I think they sound dam good for what we are paying for them
These MPOW keep up with or in lots of ways sound better than the $250 Bose set I have from a casino giveaway

I have several sets of higher end headphones — they all do something good but none are perfect — plus are amp and cable dependent to get the sound I like

How did they come up with that brand? What country are they from Vietnam? Korea?
Maybe a POW is associate with a cash cow?

Whenever The Bat Man punches The Joker, the screen goes “MPOW!!” for a few seconds.

Maybe they saw that and liked it?

I did a little Googling, and could not find out much about Mpow and which country they are headquartered in.

Maybe someone else can enlighten us.

I like to upgrade the earpads of headphones, and I don't think that's an option with Mpow.

If I could put Brainwavz pads on Mpow headphones, I would probably get some Mpow for myself.

The Mpow H12 sure gets outstanding Youtube reviews as well as written reviews. It’s considered to be a really nice headphone for the $50 range. I don’t have mine yet but feeling really good about the $13 price tag.

Definitely a good deal at $13, but if we’re talking $50 range, then there are better options out there, IMO.

Just got done mowing the lawn with the H10’s and some Monster Magnet and these things are awesome.
Best $10.50 spent in a long time.

Had to wait for the vibration to know the mower started up, could still hear the engine in the backround and tell when I hit a fallen branch so that is good to have some feedback for what is going on.

Afterwards celebrated on the back of the snowmobile trailer with a few cold beers and some Black Label Society and really dig the soundstage of these headphones.
Will try the H12’s tomorrow as they came late today, haven’t unboxed them yet.

According to their FB page, it’s an abbreviation of Music POWer.

According to Linkedin, their primary location is Shenzhen, China, although I’ve seen other pages where they claim Santa Clara, CA to be their HQ.

Thanks for that, Pete7874!

My H12’s arrived yesterday. First foray into headphones so I did NOT want to spend much. They sound great with the ANC on. Hope they hold up! Thanks for the alert on this great deal!

Here in Louisiana I don’t think I could wear over ear headphones to mow—I’d be changing pads all the time from the sweat—I wear some Gunning in ear buds—they quiet about half the noise with nothing playing

Mpows are made in China. Years ago I bought iPhone charging cables made by Mpow that are Apple protocol-ready, though I forgot the term for this.

Edit: Now I remember, the Apple protocol-ready accessory like a compliant charging/data cable is termed MFi-certified (made for iPhone)

No eureka there. Everything is made in China.

Gee I am starting to feel left out. In the last 69 years I only owned 2 pair of headphones . The first pair my father brought back from WW2 and then next pair I bought in the early 70’s .
