Wuben C3 is on sale for $24.64 PLUS they have a 10% coupon you can stack.

I don’t need another Dremel-like tool, but yeah the accessories…! So I grabbed one.

Here’s a nice USB-powered 9 inch fan, pretty quiet and moves a decent amount of air. Opolar fan on Amazon The black one is $13.99, pink is $16.99, gray is $15.99. Price dropped since last week, was $23.

Any Milwaukee M12 users…got this for $13 last night but it’s hovering around $15.32 to $17 from many sellers at the moment. These are usually ridiculously priced from $40-$65. Not the greatest charger so it doesn’t hurt to have a spare. I don’t think any of these sellers are official Milwaukee distributors, not sure where they get their goods but I’ve used two of them before for batteries and a hard to find German-made Milwaukee masonry bit set and they all arrived as genuine products. Just be sure to select “new” from the sellers sidebar/drop-down box.

Does the UI ramping go from High to Low, or start from Low to High?

Whew...that's a fire trap waiting to happen. Look at the amps drawn, look at the power cable they're choosing to use. No thanks. If it holds up and if your circuit will allow it to run long enough, it could be useful for some jewelry and such, maybe very small molds for zinc or aluminum tooling and such. Stuff like this is why I think the US needs to clamp down firmly on electric products imported...99% of the time when they list UL or euro stuff it's totally bogus and many of these products are real safety risks, just electrically speaking. Hopefully on these the crucible is dependable and other safety features are well-enough designed. But just the 110v and cord choice on this is enough to turn me away immediately even if I had a use for it. (including those short gloves, too.....maybe speaks to the relevant capabilities of the manufacturer here...)

some pics on the kitchen table; shot after it had been on 1 1/2 hrs; yellow and low modes; yellow 105 F, low 88F.

Never went below 8 after 3 hrs.

Would be a lot of work to open.

I took mine apart Some gaffer’s tape and a strap wrench. Mine never got too hot, although I worry about the LVP/construction.

Wow, the Sunmerit 2 Pack LED Garage Lights are really great. Nice and bright and good color rendition too. Can’t wait to place them in there
permanent light fixtures.

Yeah, I got mine in the back work room of my basement. No windows and old eyes. They work great.

Will ny my second set of these kind of bulbs. Curios how they will compare. Hopefully at least a bit less cool white.

Just snagged one of the Milwaukee chargers for $15.36.
Now I can charge in two places. Funny how the charger is Always at the other location.
Thanks
All the Best,
Jeff

Got my $25 Wuben E6 last week and have now had some time to really decide what I think of it.

Some have said it needs a lower mode… myth! What would you do with a moon mode that at usable range is a couple of inches across with NO spill?

The dual fuel option is fairly well implemented. I have not run down an NiMH cell yet to see if the side light works correctly, will at some point. With a 14500 at 200 yards this little guy is really impressive! I got to compare it to a couple of pretty good lights that I have built over the years this weekend. It held it’s own with many of them at range and the lack of spill seemed to help by not creating large amounts of light in the short range.

I will keep it in my truck for those night drives when I want to look for deer and see where the are herding as it will not fill the cab with light. Will be stored with a LSD NiMH, with the side LED on and I will carry a 14500 or 2. It does get warm, but not as warm as I expected… so, I am not sure about the heat path. If it had an XM-L2 or SST-40 and an OP reflector it would also make a decent EDC. But given the lack of mod options the stock build presents… ain’t gonna happen! I am glad I picked one up, at less than full price.
