Basic USB cables are cheap, but Thunderbolt cables are still pricey. I can’t wait until the day when all USB cables are Thunderbolt cables and they’re available for these prices. The best option I usually find is when these go on sale for $20:

Temu has good prices on cables.

How does Temu work? I can’t see any items for sale, it keeps asking for a login or phone number

LOL check the reviews

“When the numbers get up that high, it worries me and I start tasting copper pennie’s.”

“If it’s a false reading… great! If not, I’ll be dead before you read this review.”

It works like usual for me. No log in required. I did eventually create an account when I ordered . I was looking for magnetic charge cables and Temu came up. Took me right to the page.

Instead of distilled water, take a look at Reverse Osmosis systems.

These things will filter out almost everything. Used in all sorts of applications where clean water is needed. Places that sell 5 gallon jugs of water for water coolers Etc. Use big versions of this.
Used locally by almost everyone. The local tap water is nasty tasting.
These can make many gallons per day (like 70).
No power needed. It just wastes some water.
All the Best,
Jeff

The problem with RO is its terribly slow to fill a glass and the filters cost a fortune. Great technology though.

The pre filters are less than $10 each and last for quite a while - depending how nasty the source is and how much water you use. The Membrane lasts for years.

Mine takes about 8-10 sec to fill a large-ish glass.
One can crank up the pressure in the tank for faster flow.

The big thing for us is the 5 gallon tank. We can use the RO for cooking. The tap water is nasty. Safe to wash in or brush teeth.
In resent years it’s gotten better as the city added a new supply source.

When out of town friends come to town. We give them a gallon of store bought bottled water. They ask why. Just wait till you try the tap water…
All the Best,
Jeff

S&W nozhi, 11.45 each.

Double-edged 9in tacticool boot-knife. Looks like it comes with a leather sheath.

Got a bunch of S&W, hit or miss (okay, mostly miss) but for 12bux doesn’t seem like a bad risk.

Keep in mind that RO filtration discards 2-3 gallons of water for every gallon produced. Very effective, but not very efficient.

Sofirn LT1S LED Camping Lantern, Rechargeable Lantern with Dimmable Warm / Cool Light, Red Light, Waterproof, 500 Hours Long Runtime for Power Outages, Hiking, Camping, Emergency https://a.co/d/j6eirqd

I own this particular model and it works great. The water is delicious … :yum:

I am very pleased with mine and have been drinking RO water for many years. It’s positive virtues outweigh it’s inefficiencies. IMHO

Why is this so expensive? Just to take advantage of the camping crowd?

Don’t buy it. However, I wish I could have bought mine this cheap. The price is about half of the regular price and if a review of the ‘related items’ tells you something, +/- $30 bucks is about the same as the others made of plastic. Plus it offers device charging (to your cell, for example), high quality LEDs, uses a 21700 battery. It can be used in different scenarios other than camping… wish I could do that more!

Thanks for the heads-up … just picked up the red one. Now I own four of these great little lanterns.

Awesome deal … :ok_hand:

I have four as well, but I paid about $20 for each one. :money_mouth_face:
Of course, mine were direct from China, so I had to wait a while for delivery. :+1:

They still at about/near that price-point from Choina?

I still use my Zanflare (literally about an hour or so ago; just got back from being a monkey), but the directional-light from the LT sounds like a nice feature, as about half of the light from my Zanflare just shines right at the wall.

No.
They only drop down to about $20 every once in a long while.
You have to wait for a crazy sale to get one that cheap.
