This design seems like the Shadowhawk of lanterns - cheap, copied or slightly adapted an absurd number of times over, and very, very harsh cool white.
But the photos in that listing appear warm white! There may still be hope for fellow campers to not sear our eyes in public campgrounds!

If they even have them. I ordered it but seems to be stuck in processing for ever. They can be convenient for power outages.
The lantern is warm white. The âflashlightâ is cool white. Surprised they come with Energizer Max batteries and not some generic. Somewhere I saw a date of 12/19 which makes me think they are old stock.

Quite right. I actually bought the original LT1 shortly after it was released.
I donât need both the LT1 and LT1s, although that doesnât mean I might not eventually add the latter.

6500K is the coolest white I can stand in any situation, and thatâs way too cool for relaxing around a campsite. Itâs startling to me how many people at campgrounds have even cooler white lightsâŚenough so that that 5000K light that I usually have with me looks halogen in comparison, and my 2850K headlamp looks almost amber.
With warm white LEDâs, I might bookmark the lantern in question for future reference when people ask for recommendations for a cheap lantern. Unfortunately, most people think the Sofirn LT-series are too expensive.
