Same experience with the Pro here
Iām not susceptible to the frequencies of the whining noise, but my kids confirm itās there & I can hear it when I hold it up to my ear.
My eyes must be similarly insensitive to PWM because I donāt notice that eitherā¦
Speaking for the LT1S Pro. Also, TK had done some work in recent A2 releases for the Pro to improve some of these issues.
I do recommend it, as itās nice having the A2 functions in such a small lantern, but thereās a lot to be said for the āsimplerā versionā¦
REOLINK Security Camera Outdoor
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LKC9BJ8
Iām not sure what the price is after the discount because this security camera is already discounted.
I like Reolink security cameras like this one because they work with Blue Iris security camera software.
(Not every Reolink security camera works with Blue Iris, though.)
I have two different Reolink security cameras, and they offer a lot of bang for the buck if you want to use Blue Iris.
I love when products show comparison photos that try to make 1080p look terrible.
Also an FYI for anyone interested, this model is power over ethernet only so you will need a PoE switch.
Good catch!
Donāt order that specific security camera if you want to use Wi-Fi.
Lumintop Tool AA is ~$17. No battery. Use 5% discount on page.
The GRANITESTONE Stainless Steel Nonstick 12ā Frying Pan is down to $25
Think I grabbed the last one, tnx!
Really liking the 10. Tried my old ānonstickā pan, and even melted butter was sticking to it, so thatās getting trashed.
With the granny, I was for the first time in ages able to actually fry slices of deli ham (individually) to ātoastā 'em, and not have to sandblast the pan before frying eggs to plop on top.
SS or cast-iron, any meat-fat from ham, bacon, sausage, anything, would cause eggs to stick to the pan no matter what. Nekkid, butter, or oil. Start cool, or get it scorching hot. Didnāt matter what Iād try, no difference.
With the granny, I was able to just lay down a slice, toast, flip, toast, lay on plate. Repeat for the other slices. Any āfatā that would bubble off would bounce around the pan 'til the water would boil off and leave just a brownish speck (flyshiite). Damp paper towel to wipe off the flyshiite, little bit of butter, eggs just drop in and I can shake 'em around like a gigantic egg-pancake. Cut 'em through with a silicone spatula, flipped each piece, then just layered 'em on the ham.
Breakfast fit for a King! (āHere, King! Here, King!ā )
So yeah, count me in as a believer!
Crank-Powered Clip-On Flashlight & Smartphone Charger ~$5 ā¦eh, itās a cup of coffee.
Nothing newā¦
Iāve discovered that these are the highest current capable 18650s Iāve ever bought. Even better than 30Qs individually purchased brand new. Like one commentor said, the matched cells have a super low IR.
What are the tiers of battery manufacturing quality called? 1st quality, 1st level, ?

Thanks for the heads-up ā¦
Not a deal but a question.
Imren cells, sold by Imren Direct (?) on Amazon, has anybody had any experience with them? Just kind of curious. At $10 or so a pop for 21700s and free shipping, not too dissimilar to cost from reputable sellers. Mentions no-hassle returns too.
Just wondering as some can be had for next day delivery. Seem maybe more legit that all of the clone versions that pop up on an Amazon search.
I donāt trust any Lithium Ions from Amazon.
The comment by @peg matite and reply by Semi-Normal made me go check Imren batteries.
There is an Imren Amazon āstoreā. It has what might be a very good deal on 4x AA lithium 1.5v USB charged cells.
Claim 2800mWh(1900mAh), but no reviews to verify, just the usual semi-useless comments.

$10.57 after 40% coupon. Rare to see anything but unknown Chinese brands below $20 and those usually donāt pan out great.
Iām going to try a set and test them out.
The Chicnod lithium ion AAās are on special again, I havenāt had problems with mine, I do use these in my headlamps Skilhunt H15, and Fenix HL50.
These Chicnodās use USB-C charging, I have to admit I have become a USB-C snob.
Chicnod
Whatās the max current that these Chicnods can support? I know itās not very high with these Li-Ion AAs⦠maybe 1 or 1.5A?
Thereās no code this time? its not much of a ādealā
The Stranger Things lights have jumped up a few bucks.
Thatās the bad news.
The good news is the small crowd of sleep deprived parents (and a few family pets) - Holding torches and pitchforks seem to have stopped gathering on the front lawn.
These lights run forever on the 2 D Batts.
I am still the hero of the 13 and under set.
All the Best,
Jeff
Nice update. I just shipped one out today to a friend for his Birthday along with a Golden Wurkkos WK03.
The Stanger Things flashlight is very cool IMHO.
I added a smooch of thread grease to the end cap threads.
I worry about galling from the soft Aluminum on Aluminum contact.
All the Best,
Jeff
