There is a cable hard wired to the panel with a coax/barrel connector on it that plugs into a dedicated port on the light for solar charging. There are USB A and C connectors on the light, but I think they are only for recharging the internal cells. No output on them, so I really doubt passthrough charging or powering other devices is possible.
I found a $10 24V to 6V buck converter that should work to connect my other panels to it. But by the time I got it, connectors, and decent cells, I have twice the price I paid for the darn thing in stuff to make it work⌠Not happening considering the lack of utility for the thing to begin with.
I tested the USB-A and USB-C connectors. The USB-A outputs around 1A and the USB-C charges at around 1A, using the supplied cable. The cable isnât very good and the numbers will likely be higher with better cables (or worse with poorer cables ).
EditedâŚI decided to test the built-in charger and 1 minute after it stopped the batteries were at 4.20v , so at least that works ok.
I met my (then: future) brother in law when he was my neighbor in a student flat. Whenever one of us bought a new gadget we opened the box together. And the first thing we said was never âwhere is the manualâ but most of the time âhand over that screwdriverâ.
Of course⌠I am the same way⌠except when I donât understand something or parts seem to be missing. Sure the manual is the last resort. But when it gets to that point, it is nice to have âsomethingâ ⌠In this case though, had I just looked at the unit I would have seen the USB A port being listed as an output. Of course there are also 2 coax jacks listed as output. But no indication of voltage or current anywhere. Again, nice to at least have specs before I fry something. Yeah, in this case, no great loss, but still.
Just bought a pair of these from Amazon.
Saw them a week ir two ago for 12.95? And put one in my cart and kept trying to figure out if I had 35$ worth of stuff I needed to get free shipping.
The listing says another name but the light is a Cyansky H1R 09
Price dropped to $ 9.95 last week and is now up another one dollar. To $10.95
Not a bad little light for the money considering it comes with a 14500 thatâs worth $3 .
Crazy strong magnet in the flat tail . Works both AA nimh alkaline etc as well as the 14500 . Surprisingly bright on a nimh and pretty decent throw , UsbC charging . Press and hold to its lowest mode / last mode memory / double click to turbo but med mode and high are kind of dumb and too similar . Lock out does a really dumb ( bright) double flash to tell you the light is locked if you click the button when locked / very bright flashes and makes no sense . Switch is kind of a pain to find unless you use a clip as a guide . ( irritating) . Supposedly an aft25r is coming but a two wire emitter swap wouldnât solve some of the dumber things this light is doing wrong .
Decent $10 light and worth a mod but the dumb modes on the driver ( boost ) doesnât mean it will win awards amongst flashlight snobs .
i bought a cheap hand held all in one unit, portable, battery operated welder, like $25 or less, from ali or temu, canât remember. Tested once, was cool and it worked. Never used one before so i donât really know much, but i did accomplish connecting some leads to something else at the time and it was strong, like it melted the metals together. To me, these things are so commercialized they should be cheap unless you weld like 100 a day and is a pro.
I needed chargers, vipons would usually be the ones with cables that had lightning connectors, useless to me but nice and long (6ft, etc.). Bunch of these, and now you get nice long charging cables.
Most of these are charging + data, but not audio or video. Clearly spelled out, yet brain-damaged people still bitch about audio not working and give them 1 star.
Hereâs a couple of portable air compressors. This one comes in under $9 using code B8SGS74T and on-page coupon. This one is $10.5 using code BGNWL3TY and on-page coupon.
