They were great cells in the day. If my memory serves me they were 1100 mAh and did up to 10C discarge so about 11 amps.. But I am sure someone more knowleadgeable than me will chime in. I just remember wanting to find them years ago but never did.
Apparently they were also in some high end 36V Bosch tools. 20 of them! I remember a thread somewhere on another forum I think.
Wow! Very consistent results. They look to be in great shape. But you surely have to change the battery a little often. Though it is no worse than when I bought my first 18650 batteries. Those were 2200 mAh but NOT IMR batteries so the voltage sag was huge.
Sony cells
I have 12 of them 2200mAH rated. more than 3 years old laptop packs. still have 1500~1800mAH
Very good cells. brought two packs for 12$.
mine label say US18650GR
What equipment uses these packs?
you guys very lucky to have these packs. Im searching 3-4 years everywhere in here for batteries. There is no thing called battery bin here.
once I asked for dead packs from laptop repair company and they told me we have nothing.
in medical equipment often it is recommended to exchange the packs on a regular base before they go bad (1-4 years)
and before they go in the bin i collect them (IF the technicans there wont them - which is often the case )
