any one tried this ? Temperature Sensor Water Faucet Tap

Hi all

I am wondering if any one have tried those Temperature Sensor Water Faucet Tap i need any feedback about it

Interesting…

Not much use for it, most homeowners choose the temperature of their hot water, by setting the water heater.

The lavatory faucet water temp is pretty easy to handle.

i liked it also for its decorative thing coloring the water, so any one tried it ?

interesting idea, more a novelty then anything but i wish it had a 10ºC or lower colour and even a 5ºC or lower colour

Yes, the kids liked it and it encouraged them to brush their teeth longer and wash their hands more often, but I’m sure more water was wasted just from them watching it glow in the dark. It is louder than a normal faucet due to the dynamo so think twice about using it in your master bathroom if your companion is a light sleeper. Also, don’t expect it to last more than a year or two, because the dynamo eventually starts to fail and make a squealing noise, then intermittently sieze up due to the plastic bearings. There are also battery operated versions, but they also fail after about a year due to water intrusion and rusting from poor seals.

The merely colored one has been around for years, and often goes on sale at places like meritline.

My experience with faucets is that there are a million different thread sizes out there, so this might be a bit of a lottery to get it to fit. Otherwise, seems cute and cheap enough.

This aerator comes with the inside/outside thread adapter, and should fit most normal bathroom faucets in the U.S.

Who’s going to be the first to mod one, XM-L2 maybe
You wouldn’t have to worry about cooling, not with all that brass and liquid cooling too

I thought about getting a shower head one.

Would be very cool!
