I just bought from Amazon an assortment of bulbs that claim to be “flicker free”, via vipon, so half price, more or less.
Any “60W equivalent” will be about 7W and 0.6PF. Use the fan test and camera test to make sure there’s no strobing.
I prefer the glass bulbs with “filaments” vs snowcones.
Hizachi was one that ticked all the boxes, even claimed to be >90CRI, but didn’t (can’t) measure that. Other brands I don’t recall. Some strobed, some didn’t.
Problem is that “brands” come and go, so past good brands today might not exist tomorrow. Unless you stick with name brands like GE or Philips, and pay full freight.
Thanks for the detailed answer!
F’n thing “corrected” snowcones into “snow ones”. How to turn off the f’n thing??
Anyhoo, remember that Vipon Is Your Friend. I only “explore” on the cheap.
Some gems out there, and some lemons.
Oh, and Kinur was always a good brand. Got a 3-way bulb with no strobing, and they got great customer service.
Unfortunately it seems that Kinur and Hizachi have just 120V bulbs.
I figured locally they’d list 240s just as here they only list 120s.
It depends on which specific device you’re on.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A35.
I went to https://chatgpt.com/ and pasted:
disable autocorrect samsung galaxy a35
I followed the directions, and hopefully autocorrect has been turned off on my phone.
By the way, I started using ChatGPT yesterday, and it’s a lot better than Google’s AI (Gemini).
Mmmmm, I’d rather not use AI. It’ll try to kill me or at least blackmail me.
Yeah, AI can be used for evil, and some aspects of AI are indeed evil.
Did anyone see yesterday’s The Daily Show?
Jon Stewart had an interview with Tristan Harris about the future of AI.
The interview mostly went over my head, but it was pretty pessimistic overall.
If anyone likes TDS or Jon Stewart, it was an informative interview.
Yeah, on TDS, they mentioned the blackmail attempt, but I don’t remember them mentioning the plan for AI to murder.
