Do let us know about the comparison. PM me
I’d love to see that comparison too! Camera ready!
Just got my XinTD U3 today. That shipping took FOREVER.
I’ve only had a chance to play with it at work, but it seems nice and bright. I hate the tailcap switch though. I made the mistake of ordering the 5 way and with no memory, its a PITA to use. Also the lack of a momentary on kind of sucks.
Otherwise it seems like a nice light. I’ll be interested to see how it compares to the HD2010 I have on the way.
I assume you mean the XinTD. Wish I could help you, or maybe you can DIY. It's fairly easy soldering job to change the mode configurations. But the mode memory should be there - are you sure it's not remembering the mode selection?
Tom, this is the Solarforce holster I bough a while back. The XinTD fits like a glove..
Yes, that's a nice one...

How long did the shipping take?
Ordered on 12/9/12, received it on 1/2/13.
Also, it does have memory. I was being too impatient.
ordered mine on the 19th of December, received it today
Finally got my light. Took a month but worth the wait. Everything is perfect. I understand what everyone means about quality. I love my cheap 502b but this light is built to last. Great beam and tint, good lanyard, and it does tailstand.
Got a lightbox last night to measure lumens (Thanks to a couple of great members!!). Hopefully will be setting it up real soon, check calibration, and measure the mod'ed XinTD U3 (mod'ed to 3.5A). Interesting to see how it compares to my other C8's, HD2010, etc. I'll report results here.
Just ordered one with the U3. No strobe is nice . It’ll be my first 18650 light. I have some 2200 mAh 17670 batteries which I assume will work if a protected 18650 does.
