I can’t decide to go with the lower binned 2C or give the 5D0 a shot. I would imagine it’s right there on the border between NW and WW. Nothing showed up in a search, so thought I’d ask if anyone has it.

RMM (Richard) seems to know what he sells very much so.
Did you pm or emailed him?
(He also has a thread here about Mountain Electronics)
Thanks Miller, yeah, that’s probably a good idea. I’d normally just buy a couple of tints and go with the one I liked, but these are a little too pricey for that.
I was wondering the same thing. I got a XML2 in 5D HERE and it is quite an acceptable tint. The thing is, I have no way to tell if it is actually a 5D… or where the XHP50 5D0 falls in the range. Personally the D80 5A was way too orange for me, but the 5C from the On The Road M3 was great.
2C is OK to me, but I also saw it was lower binned… I was thinking in an aspheric, you would essentially have a negative cross-hair look when zoomed out…
If memory serves me right my experience with the 5d0 tint from mtn was that it had a very warm yellowish tint to it. I wasnt that happy with it until I started over driving the emitter at better than 4 amps. Then the emitter seemed to come to life. The yellowing gave way to a very bright natural/neutral light that seemed to bring out the color of things. It is hard to explain actually. If memory is serving me right as I stated. My color blind friend seemed to favor it.
Ok, thanks. I definitely plan to overdrive it, but not sure I want to take a chance on it being too yellow. I’ll stick with a different tint this time around.
