I got my nitecore EC25W more than a year ago from Fasttech and really love it from day 1. It is very comfortable to hold in hand, UI is great, size is fairly small to be EDC, has good throw and perfect beam in stock form. The only drawback I can see is the low mode is around 60lumens, which is a little high for me. But hey, who is perfect?
I have been looking around for moddings done on it and did not find any. What I have in mind is to update the XML to dedomed XML2 1A with proper focusing. It would be even better if there is a way to increase the max current thru something like resistor mod.

I’m not sure of its inner parts, but it could be a candidate for a stacked, momentary Qlite. Pretty much any max current you desire, only limited by battery choice. It also has the ability to drop that low to whatever you desire. This is assuming proper fitment which most modders here would likely be able to tweak.

The big problem is how to take the head off I guess. In old-lumen’s post about EA8 the head of EA8 was heavily glued down. EC25 is probably the same.
