Point it at the items in your pantry or similar, compared to other lights. I’m curious how much better the cri is on these.
High CRI is good, up to a point. If not doing side by side I’d even be happy enough of a LH351D instead of 519A. Chasing 100 CRI and give up the output and convenience is not worth the hassle imo.
The marginal CRI increase going from 519A to Optisolis is very noticeable IRL, but cannot be captured on camera. Camera sensors and display screens have much, much lower color resolution than the human eye, perhaps unsurprising since the emission spectrum of a screen peaks essentially at 3 wavelengths and is zero elsewhere. Imagine comparing the CRI of various light sources by taking black-and white photos. There will be differences, but they would not be very informative. The difference must be experienced in person.
That said, for 99% of uses, the marginally higher of the Optisolis is not worth the reduction in output. Though to see colors in absolute accuracy, no blue-pumped flashlight LED really comes close.
