I just got one for about USD25. Really useful for me as I use to have many smaller capacity powerbank, and this 60000mAh can last very long like 4days.
Amazing! That is a lot of power storage to use indoor and outdoor.
Not so portable though as it is very heavy.
I do have a few DIY >100Wh packs, but they are obviously user for backups.
That’s like 5 x of 60000mAh powerbank. Sure useful for backup in case of emergency.
This 60000mAh powerbank I have does have a led light that can act as candle when outage happens. But seldom happen outage nowadays, and I have flashlight to do ceiling bounce too.
And it can be used to charge USB-C enabled flashlights which are more common nowadays.
I think i calculated it wrongly above. 60000mAh battery capacity is about 222Wh.
IMO it’s way past the point of diminishing returns, if you can’t discharge it in one day you’re just carrying dead weight. Like having a 21700 light for keychain.
The most I carry nowadays is 10,000mAh. It gives my phone 1.5x charge, and each full charge lasts me 2 days.
I think it is that I can use my phones & tablet for longer time with less charging efforts.
Something like let’s say originally I need to recharge my powerbank everyday for my usage(2 phones and 1 tablets), now I only need to recharge my powerbank every 4 days.
I seldom use wall charger to charge my devices because I still use them while charging them. Powerbank gives the portability of charging devices anywhere.
