Does anybody know the exact dimensions of lens on the Sofirn SF47T? I need to open mine up to remove some bits from the reflector. I figured I would replace the stock lens with an AR one at the same time. Rather than open the light twice I figured I would ask here next. Any recommendations on where to order an AR lens from once I know the size? BTW I did try to reach out to Sofirn on the size issue at their Ali store, and got a no joy response. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe someone can confirm diameter and thickness for you, but I would imagine it’s a 52mm lens given the 55mm head. In Funtastic’s comment here, he says the reflector top is 50.6mm (suppose that’s outside diameter): Have you SEEN...the new Sofirn SF47? - #48 by PiercingTheDarkness
Sofirn would surely sell you a lens but they may not have coated ones for that light.

Kaidomain has several, surely one that will fit. I’ve heard mixed opinions on the quality of their coatings but I’ve bought a number of coated and uncoated sizes from them and they’ve all been great, well finished and good quality. Here’s their 52mm x 2mm coated. They’re a bit slow with shipping but a great outfit. If those don’t work there are a few other good sources. I noticed on KD’s link above that they show a Maglite model, and both the C- and D-cell heads use 52mm so there may be something on amazon or brightguy or somewhere. Sofirn’s staff on aliexpress are hit and miss…sometimes they nail it and sometimes they will go ask someone and get back with you, and sometimes they just sort of flounder. I think messaging Barry on the sofirn .com website might be better for some things. On aliexpress I learned to keep it simple and short….like “what size measurement glass lens for SF47T flashlight?” and always try to be as specific as possible for light models/parts. They’ll usually take care of you even if you aren’t buying something.
If you have an optometrist eyewear shop nearby that also grinds custom lenses, you can ask them if they can simply do an anti-reflective coating on the lens. I’ve done it a few times and it never cost anything because they just put the little thing in the machine together with other lenses.
Thanks for the insight. I’ve decided to go with Simon’s option. Your insights got me thinking I have both a D-cell mag, and a Convoy m21c. I took all 3 apart for comparison. The Mag glass (yes, I’ve upgraded the mag to LED and glass) stopped when it hit the 47T’s threads, too big. The 47T’s glass was an almost perfect overlay for the Convoy so…bang-o and away we go.
