Armytek Handy C2 Pro Charger Powerbank Review

The Armytek Handy C2 Pro is a two channel charger and powerbank for IMR/Li-ion, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries. It can charge each channel at 1A or 0.5A. The powerbank can output 5V/2.5A through the USB-A port.

It has a nice design.

But it uses micro USB…

Here are a few graphs of Li-ion and Ni-Mh charging. I also measured the powerbank.

Does anyone know of a single cell charger/powerbank that uses a single USB-C port? E.g. A modern version of the Nitecore F1

Armytek kindly sent this charger/powerbank for review.

Here is my full review:

What’s your long-term review? Device still good after 1 year?

I have 20+ chargers so I haven’t used it often enough to give it a fair long term review.

Vapcell S4+, ISDT C4 Evo, Powerex MH-C9000 and XTAR VC8SL have had a fair bit of use.

Gyrfalcon S8000, SkyRC MC5000, SkyRC NC3000 Pro and Vapcell BL4 are on my desk and regularly used.

I’ll chuck the BL4 in my car if I need to charge cells on the go. Otherwise I’ll try to take a flashlight with built-in USB-C charging to reduce what I’m carrying when travelling (i.e. already carrying a small phone charger).

I plan to use it as a powerbank mostly so I was wondering how it behaves in this respect.

Have you used any other DIY powerbanks for 18650s?

I used an XTAR PB2S for a few years. They have an updated version.

This one died in my hands withing 2 weeks of use, purchased from Amazon. Probably the first revision but still can’t trust this Chinese junk.
