Armytek Partner C2 Pro

I recently bought an Armytek Wizard C2 Pro, I absolutely love it and was after another Armytek but something with some throw. I was really taken by the Partner C2, except that there’s no Pro version, so no moonlight mode. :frowning:

Browsing the Armytek website today I decided to have a look at the catalog, and what did I spot in the compact tactical flashlights section marked as “upcoming” - Partner C2 Pro! Looking at the photo it may have been bumped up to a 21700 and it’s available with a warm emitter. This ticks a lot of boxes for me and pending reviews, and of course actual release, has just made it to the top of my wish-list.

Armytek in general is top tier. Its realy the closest thing to buying a Malkoff. Dont get me wrong, its no Makloff but it up there.

The Armytek catalog typically includes models that may or may not be released in five years or more.

Oh. I was hopeful having seen Darren Yeo reviewing the Dobermann Pro Max which was in the same section.

I could probably live with the current Partner C2, I don’t need moonlight when I’m out and about. I am coming round to the realisation that there is no one light that can do everything.

What took you so long?
Price?
Scary UI with the general UI and the advanced UI? When somebody tries to explain both of them it sounds nearly impossible.

The catalog has a list of all their lights and it shows you the coming models and says they will be out within a year. There is no indication of when that catalog was produced.
What they show is definitely going to be a 21700 model because if you zoom in on the picture of it it says MAX.
If the limited specs are correct, I don’t consider 260 meters “throw”. However it is unlikely that it will have the same throw as the smaller model.

And there are no two or three lights that can do everything.

Price was definitely part of it, I found a site that had them reduced by about a third so I took a punt on one. Knowing how good it is I would happily pay full price to replace it if I lost it. I like the advanced UI a lot, the ability to turn on in any one of three modes is brilliant.

260m definitely isn’t proper thrower territory but it should let me check the 60m tree line for zombies.
