The pro max looks excellent.

Nice to see some high lumen 2100 flashlights from AT

I love my Prime C2 Pro … my favorite aspect of this light it the beautiful TIR.

Hopefully in the future we can get:

  • Prime C2 Pro with Nichia 144A 4500K R9050 (high CRI version like the Wizard Nichia)
  • Basically a straight version of the Wizard C2 Pro Max (21700, beaded TIR, also high CRI 4500K or higher). Could still use 144A - doesn’t need to be brighter, but I’d like better runtimes with the 21700.

Anyone know what emitters are in the Prime C2 Magnet USB?

Very nice looking lights!

The palm sized Prime C1 pro is a huge improvement over older models.

Hello!
Thanks for your comment.

We use Samsung LH351D in the Prime C2.

1 Thank

Thanks, I think if Armytek used the Nichia 519A sm453 or sm503 in the Prime C2 it would be more popular with the BLF crowd, since it has better color rendering R9 (R9080) and less green than LH351D with not much output tradeoff. Since TIR often subtracts ~300K from CCT maybe sm503.

As side note, Armytek offers 4000K and ~6000K most often … I would much prefer something in the middle. Many of our favorite headlamps (Wizard C2 Pro Nichia, Skilhunt H300 144A) are 4500K, give or take.

Thank you for the information! Would it be possible to include the LED information in the technical specification at your website?

1 Thank

I agree, the old manuals, for example Prime C2 Pro pdf, has an extensive Specifications section mentioning, among other things:

  • Emitter
  • Modes / lumens / runtimes / stepdowns ← (missing from new manuals and website)

This is missing from the newer manuals that I checked.

1 Thank

i will take prime c1 pro nw. thank you

1 Thank

@Armytek what are the CCTs of the warms and cold’s used in these? (Also should go in the specs / manual along with emitter).

We’ll add this information soon. Thanks!

1 Thank

The CCT are for warm - 4000K and for cold - 5500K. But the CCT may vary depending on the batch. These are acceptable deviation from LED manufacturers.
Thanks!

Very nice.

1 Thank

Please could you explain why a flashlight that delivers 8.19 kCd is “the most long range”?

1 Thank

I think you missed a couple of constraints , Armytek and Multi. I’m not sure what the “multi” part is but if you remove that little tidbit then there’s nothing special about this light.

Must be the new catch word taking over from tacticool :upside_down_face:

2 Thanks

The “multi” means that the light fulfills multiple duties. They say headlight, EDC, and sports. All of the wizard series are 90° lights. They work excellent as headlights. They have the best clip of any headlight. I’ve carried a wizard clipped in a pocket for at least 5 years as a secondary EDC light. Most of the time I prefer my primary EDC light to have much more throw. That’s why I call the wizard my secondary EDC. They make a bicycle mount for all of the wizards. I’m pretty sure they make more headlight models than anybody else. Until now all of the wizards have had a very wide smooth beam pattern. So the LR is simply to differentiate from all other wizards.

The beam range of our multi flashlights is 98-130 m.
The beam range of the Wizard C2 Pro Max LR is up to 181 meters. That is why it is the most long-range among our multi flashlights.

Thanks!

I bet it can be used at night time as well :innocent:

1 Thank

Yes I would not recommend going outdoors in the night time or even being indoors at night without a wizard.
