Yes I bypassed spring by copper solder wick. Also I used 0.5㎟ wire between circuit and led.
And I think my multi meter is well work. Because I check same LG HG2 3000mAh battery with my 3000mA linear circuit. And it shows about 3000mA tail cap current.
I have no interest in a paperweight after only one hour. .
I see amc7135 x8 lights as glories 25 ohm variable resistors. Mathematically 75% efficient at 350 ma with 2.7 fw voltage in average 3.7 v cell. . People claiming higher, are running 2 amps where fw voltage is 3.2 fV. . Then an led driven at 2 amps pwm down to 300 ma is 75 percent as efficient or bright as a pot. . Then cutout OS at 3.3 v, leaving 25% left on a Panasonic 3400, since fV is 3.2 at 2.4 amp pwm. . No wonder my single cell AMC lights have a third the runtime of my 2x18650 buck switching driver lights. . Then those poor amc7135 clusters cook, not getting their needed 5 cubic cm per AMC.
This driver may be better. . Only one amc7135 is good. . Maybe the lower modes aren’t current slamming, less efficient pwm ed. So, I am dying to know, what the tail cap readings are on the lower mode.
FET, is just a transistor strobe. Leds don’t put put full efficiency at higher current even if ice cooled.
So. This is why I need to know the lower tail cap currents. . The 50 percent says nothing. 50 percent of 350ma or bare back fet on led?
