Astrolux S43S review (4x 219C, 18350/18650)

The copper has a clear coating, but getting it hot from Turbo usage tends to make it feel a bit tacky. The tacky feeling goes away once it cools down. The coating has mostly come off of my light so it’s a bit darker than when new. There’s still a few spots where the coating is still there creating shiny spots. No big deal to me. Typical for copper lights I believe.

Sorry if this was already covered… I tried searching around for Astrolux S43 and Carclo… only turned up one link that comes close, where someone says the 1062x optic series (10621, 10622, 10623) may work, though you’d have to trim down two of the legs. But I checked the details page for Carclo listings and it’s 24mm. The Astrolux is 23mm. I guess one could try sanding down the diameter by 1mm, but then there’s the matter of optics lining up. Does anyone here know of a confirmed replacement optic that works for the Astrolux S43?

Hello,

Is there a way to access to the intern pcb without breaking it ?

The usb port felt in the copper tube so i can’t plug a cable in it anymore, i think i just need to reweld it to make it stop moving but the PCB looks glued :frowning:
